Acceptable Use Policy

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") sets out the standards of conduct we require from everyone who uses the OutClassAI application, website, and related services (the "Service"). It forms part of your agreement with us and should be read alongside our Terms of Service and EULA.

OutClassAI is designed to help you think more clearly and structure your communication. We built it with integrity in mind, and we expect you to use it the same way.

1. Permitted Uses

You may use the Service to:

• Support your own thinking and communication during live interviews, meetings, or professional conversations in contexts where AI assistance is permitted.
• Practise your interview technique in mock or self-conducted sessions.
• Improve your ability to structure responses, identify follow-up points, and manage information during high-stakes conversations.

2. Prohibited Uses

You must not use the Service in any of the following ways:

2.1 Cheating in prohibited examinations or assessments

You must not use the Service in any formal examination, certification test, or professional assessment where the rules explicitly prohibit the use of AI tools or external assistance. This includes — but is not limited to — academic exams, professional licensing tests, regulated certification programmes, and any employer-administered assessment that prohibits AI. Doing so would violate this AUP and may violate applicable laws regarding fraud or misrepresentation.

2.2 Misrepresentation and impersonation

You must not use the Service to:

• Claim credit for skills, experience, or knowledge you do not possess;
• Provide answers that misrepresent your qualifications to an employer or interviewer;
• Impersonate another person during any interview, assessment, or meeting; or
• Obtain employment or professional credentials through fraudulent means.

2.3 Harmful, abusive, or discriminatory content

You must not use the Service to generate, store, or transmit content that:

• Is violent, threatening, harassing, or promotes hatred on the basis of race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or any other protected characteristic;
• Is defamatory, libellous, or invasive of another person's privacy; or
• Constitutes child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any other illegal content.

2.4 Security and system interference

You must not use the Service to:

• Introduce malware, viruses, spyware, or any other malicious code into the Service or any third-party system;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to our systems, databases, or any third-party systems;
• Conduct denial-of-service attacks or any other activity designed to disrupt or degrade any service;
• Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from our website or application without prior written permission; or
• Circumvent, disable, or interfere with security features of the Service or any connected platform.

2.5 Unlawful or regulatory violations

You must not use the Service:

• In violation of any applicable law or regulation;
• To facilitate illegal discrimination in hiring or employment;
• To violate any court order, injunction, or other legal requirement; or
• In any manner that could expose OutClassAI to legal liability.

2.6 Attempting to circumvent detection in ways that violate law or platform rules

While OutClassAI is designed to minimise its own visibility during normal use, you must not use the Service to:

• Actively deceive any human interviewer, exam proctor, or assessment administrator in a manner that violates applicable law;
• Modify, tamper with, or interfere with any proctoring or monitoring software in a way that violates the terms of the platform or applicable law; or
• Use the Service in combination with any other tool or technique for the purpose of committing fraud.

2.7 Recording consent and local law

When you use OutClassAI in any environment where conversations or on‑screen content are captured, transcribed, or otherwise recorded (including audio recording and on‑device screenshots), you must ensure that you have all permissions and consents required by law, employer policy, and platform rules, including two‑party or all‑party consent rules where applicable. You must not use the Service to secretly record, capture, or transcribe conversations or screen content in violation of applicable law or policy. OutClassAI does not verify whether consent has been obtained and is not responsible for any consequences arising from unconsented recording, screen capture, or transcription.

3. Reporting Violations

If you become aware of any use of the Service that violates this AUP, please report it to us at support@OutClassAI.app. We take all reports seriously and will investigate promptly.

4. Enforcement

We reserve the right to take any or all of the following actions in response to a violation of this AUP:

• Warning: Issue a written warning and require you to remedy the violation immediately.
• Suspension: Temporarily suspend your access to the Service pending investigation.
• Termination: Permanently terminate your account and access to the Service without refund, for serious or repeated violations.
• Legal action: Refer the matter to relevant law enforcement authorities or pursue civil legal remedies where your conduct is illegal or causes us harm.
• Disclosure: Disclose your information to third parties (including law enforcement) where required by law or to protect the rights, property, or safety of OutClassAI, its users, or the public.

We will use reasonable judgement in determining the appropriate response and will consider factors including the nature and severity of the violation, whether it is a first or repeated offence, and the harm caused or likely to be caused.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this AUP from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a notice within the Service at least 14 days before changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date of any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised AUP.
