Is using OutClassAI during an interview cheating?
OutClassAI is designed as a thinking and structure aid, not a tool to impersonate someone else or bypass your own ability to reason. It surfaces frameworks and talking points — you still have to understand them and apply them in your own words.
That said, it is your responsibility to comply with the rules set by your interviewer, employer, or assessment provider. Some organisations prohibit any AI assistance; others do not. When in doubt, ask.
Will interviewers see the app on screen share or screen recordings?
OutClassAI is built specifically to minimise visibility:
• It is not visible on the taskbar and does not appear in Alt+Tab.
• It does not inject into the browser or the interview window itself.
• It uses OS-level keyboard shortcuts only; it does not move the mouse or generate clicks.
We cannot guarantee absolute undetectability in every environment or under every monitoring configuration. Platform policies and detection technologies evolve. We test regularly on major coding platforms but advise caution in high-security assessment environments.
Which coding and interview platforms does OutClassAI support?
OutClassAI runs alongside — not inside — any coding or interview platform. It has been tested with LeetCode, HackerRank, Codility, CodeSignal, CoderPad, and HackerEarth, among others. Because it does not inject into the browser, it also works with Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, and most browser-based video platforms.
Currently available on Windows. macOS support is in development.
Where is my interview data stored?
Interview and meeting content — transcripts, detected questions, and contextual memory — is captured and stored locally on your device. Portions may be transmitted to our backend purely for real-time processing to generate suggestions and documents, but are never permanently stored on our servers.
Our servers only store: your account identity (login), subscription and plan details, usage telemetry (minutes/tokens used), and billing metadata.
Does OutClassAI use my conversations to train AI models?
No. We do not use your interview transcripts, audio, CVs, or session context to train machine learning models, build behavioural user profiles, or target advertising.
Can I use OutClassAI in any exam or certification test?
You must follow the rules of the specific exam or certification body. Many formal examinations and certification tests explicitly prohibit any AI assistance. Using OutClassAI in those contexts could result in disqualification or other consequences.
OutClassAI's Acceptable Use Policy prohibits using the product in contexts where AI tools are explicitly banned. By using OutClassAI, you agree that you will not use it in violation of the rules of any examination or assessment you participate in.
